Volunteers Week

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers. The work you do for us is outstanding and without you we would not be who we are today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our volunteers are essential to our work.

We are always looking for men and women aged 18 or over to join our team and support us to deliver a quality service to our clients.

We offer induction training and on-going support for all our volunteering roles.

We have a number of different volunteering opportunities including: Administration Support Volunteers, Counselling Volunteers, Events Volunteers, Fundraising Volunteers and Helpline Listeners. Click here to see a full description of all the volunteering roles we have.

If you would like any further information on any of our volunteering roles or to apply please phone 01202 308840 or email [email protected]

Why is Volunteering Important?

According to Volunteers Week as well as helping others, volunteering has been shown to improve volunteers wellbeing too.

It's human nature to feel good after helping someone out. Volunteering can also help you gain valuable new skills and experiences, and boost your confidence.

The estimated annual value of volunteers helping UK charities is £22.6bn!

In 2017/18 20.1 million (38%) of people in the UK volunteered formally at least once a year and 11.8 million (22%) of people did so at least once a month.

If you would like any further information on any of our volunteering roles or to apply please contact Stuart King at [email protected] or 01202 308840.
