Due to the increasing demand for its services STARS Dorset opened a new centre in Dorchester, West Dorset. The charity currently has its main offices in Poole and the new centre will mean its services will be more accessible to clients in the west of the county. Read more

Our sky diving team raised £4500! The brave group of supporters took to the skies at Go Sky Dive in Salisbury and each one bravely jumped from 10,000ft and helped raise the fantastic total. The team, made up of the charity’s volunteers, counsellors, employees and those who have seen the great work the charity does, each had their own reasons for bravely jumping and the charity is hugely grateful. Dorset Rape Crisis Support Centre has changed its name and will become known as STARS, an acronym on its new name, Sexual Trauma And Recovery Service - Dorset Rape Crisis. The new name was the clever idea of one of the charity's volunteers with the aim of encouraging more people across the county to engage with the charity and the support it offers. Read more
STARS Dorset was awarded funds by the Tampon Tax Fund which was used to launch a series of six week Wellbeing Workshops throughout 2019 which consist of Yoga, Art and Sound Healing sessions. The workshops will run from February to November. Read more
